6 Colourful Shades of Shiseido Tsubaki Hair Products
Some of Wonect’s customers have interest in the SHISEIDO TSUBAKI haircare products. If you are one of them, then you will be excited to know that SHISEIDO is releasing 3 more TSUBAKI series products on the 7 March (which is tomorrow! :D). Taking this opportunity, we are going to look at the six different haircare series, and figure out what the differences are.
Just a note, we are not going to touch the other products that are also under the TSUBAKI name. These products include the popular Premium Repair Mask, Oil Perfection, Repair Milk, and Scalp Serum. However, if you are wondering about their differences, let us know in the comments and we’ll look into them for you.
SHISEIDO TSUBAKI “Original Three”
We call these the Original Three, because they are the current face of SHISEIDO TSUBAKI, especially the brilliant red bottle of the Extra Moist. We would see it in almost all of TSUBAKI promotions. By the way, TSUBAKI means Camellia, which is the main attractiveness.
The three series in the Original Three are Extra Moist, Damage Care and Volume Touch. All of them uses carefully selected Camellia Oil, which provides shine, moisture and repair to the hair.
SHISEIDO TSUBAKI Extra Moist
The products under Extra Moist contain Hyaluronic Acid, which gives moisture to the whole strand of hair including the hair roots. So you’ll want this red bottled series if your hair is feeling dried out.
Extra Moist Shampoo: For moist, easy-to-handle hair.
Extra Moist Hair Conditioner: To upkeep the moisture in hair.
Extra Moist Hair Treatment: Used right after shampooing without conditioner.
Scent: Camellia Fruit
SHISEIDO TSUBAKI Damage Care
All three products in the white Damage Care series uses pearl protein and arginine as hair repairing ingredients that repairs from within the damaged hair. You will want to use this if your hair suffered damaged from hair colouring, or perhaps it has lost its luster.
Damage Care Shampoo: For that smooth hair, without any starchy sensation.
Damage Care Hair Conditioner: Same as the shampoo, for achieving smooth hair.
Damage Care Hair Treatment: Similar to Extra Moist, used after shampoo without the conditioner.
Scent: Floral Green
SHISEIDO TSUBAKI Volume Touch
The purple Volume Touch is made with anti-aging in mind. The bounce and smoothness of the hair decrease with age, therefore this series restores those two by giving hair shine and volume. It does so by using taurine and polyquaternium-11.
Volume Touch Shampoo: Restores bounce and smoothness to the hair.
Volume Touch Hair Conditioner: Restores bounce and smoothness to the hair.
Volume Touch Hair Treatment: Again, used after shampooing without the conditioner.
Scent: Floral Fruity
SHISEIDO TSUBAKI New Series
The new products include three series with rather pretty and clean designs! In fact, later we might be able to draw some similarities to the Original Three, but let’s first take a closer new at these.
SHISEIDO uses five natural, beauty ingredients that penetrate into the core of the hair so that we have healthier hair. These include lemon fruit water, botanical essence, soy protein, royal jelly, and of course, tsubaki oil essence.
Furthermore, these products are multipurpose, such that they can fix bed hair, prevent tanglings or fannings, cut UV exposure and even act as a treatment. It also introduces the Hair Water which includes moisture adjustment technology. What it does is absorb moisture when there is a lack of, and reject extra moisture when there is too much.
SHISEIDO TSUBAKI Moist
Nope, its not Extra Moist, but should be considered by anyone concerned about dry hair or fanning of the hair.
Moist Shampoo: For a moist after-wash without weighing the hair down.
Moist Hair Conditioner: For a moist after-wash.
Moist Hair Treatment: Use after shampooing without conditioner. It also uses amino acid derivatives to protect hair from split ends.
Moist Hair Water: One item with four uses, which contains the moisture adjustment technology.
Scent: Floral fruit
SHISEIDO TSUBAKI Smooth
If your hair gets tangled often, and you’d also enjoy the smooth feeling of running your fingers through your hair, then you’d like to use the Smooth series.
Smooth Shampoo: Prevents hair tangles and friction.
Smooth Hair Conditioner: Prevents hair tangles and friction.
Smooth Hair Treatment: Similarly, this treatment doesn’t need a conditioner for use, and also uses amino acid derivatives to protect hair from split ends.
Smooth Hair Water: Four multi-uses, with moisture adjustment technology.
Scent: Floral fruit
SHISEIDO TSUBAKI Volume
Just as the name suggests, you want this pink series to prevent concerns of flattening hair or hairstyles collapsing easily.
Volume Shampoo: Gives volume to the hair.
Volume Hair Conditioner: Gives volume to the hair.
Volume Hair Treatment: Use after shampooing without conditioner, also contains amino acid derivatives.
Volume Hair Water: Four multi-uses, with moisture adjustment technology.
Scent: Floral fruit
SHISEIDO TSUBAKI in the Future
With similarities that exist between the products, is SHISEIDO planning to phase out the original three? There is no news yet, so we shall be paying attention to what the plan is. But we do see that the haircare products are made with different directions in mind, so the series do not overlap that much.
SHISEIDO TSUBAKI fans would want to think about trying their new Hair Water, especially if we have trouble with moisture in the hair. Remember that moisture is essential because the lack of it often leads to various hair problems.
If you are interested in finding out about other shampoo/haircare options, how about looking at other shampoos from SHISEIDO, the Professional Hair Care series? Perhaps you’d like to look for natural alternatives, we have a few silicone-free shampoos suggestions here too!
