This is the KOSE Lip Gel Magic that was the talk of the town on the social networks. You can protect your lipstick from eating and drinking just by applying this lipstick coat gel. It does so because it’ll be layered onto your lipstick, protecting the colour from falling off or staining other objects!

Why does lipstick come off so easily?

So why does it come off so easily? (><) We apply lipstick happily early in the morning before going out, and yet it comes off the moment we take breakfast… It thus becomes troublesome as we have to reapply.

I don’t, because it IS troublesome haha. The lipstick is bound to come off as soon as I apply it anyway.

1) Before opening, shake it well.
Note: It’s a semitransparent gel, so it might appear transparent if not shaken.
2) Take gel a size of a rice grain with your index finger.
Note: You don’t need to squeeze all the gel at one go. Just bits at a time is fine.

3) Apply across the mouth corners and inner side of the lips by spreading it sideways.

In fact, I gave the KOSE Lip Gel Magic a try!

I put on a bright red lipstick so that we can see the change in colour if there is any.

This much lipstick comes off in the case of just lipstick alone. It can be kinda embarrassing when this much lipstick sticks to the coffee cup everytime…

So let’s try it again, this time with the KOSE Lip Gel Magic. It has a texture that feels like a smooth lip cream, and doesn’t leave any sticky feelings on the lips or fingers.

Once again, testing it with a piece of tissue paper…… not a smudge of lipstick!!!!

A comparison!

This is amazing! I had given up on ever preventing lipstick colour from coming off, but the KOSE Lip Gel Magic has overturned the common sense that “it is a given that lipstick colour will drop off”.

Using the KOSE Lip Gel Magic would allow us to omit the trouble of reapplying lipstick, since the lipstick can now last till evening time. You no longer have to worry about staining utensils with lipstick when eating out. If there is no need to reapply lipstick, our lipstick depletes slower, it then becomes economical too!!! (^o^)

Lipstick colour doesn’t come off once I apply this gel right after applying lipstick.

The luster of the lipstick disappears after applying the gel, but the colour of the lipstick doesn’t change.

There is also no change to food taste since it is non-scented.

Since the lipstick is protected from smudging, there is no lipstick balding after meals!!

I would like to continue using this lip gel!

Glossy lipstick turns matte when it’s applied on top of the lipstick. As such, I apply a thin layer of lip gloss on top of it and around the centre, to bring out the original shine of the lipstick. This lipstick seems suited to bring out the best in matte lipsticks.

I went for the company gathering like that! After 3 hours of enjoying chinese cuisines, the glossy look had returned to matte. But I was surprised to find that the lipstick colour had stayed firmly!! (°Д°)

7 hours after applying the lipstick, the colour had dulled and thinned, but I had not reapplied lipstick even once. It’s great that it doesn’t come off!

It’s not natural if the lips remained glossy after a long meal, so I’m rather thankful that lipstick colour remain.

Right now, it seems like we should the gloss with the Lip Gel since they work well together.

This is fantastic! I’ve been waiting for a long time for such a product. Whenever I drink coffee out of a white paper cup, the lipstick stains left on the cup makes it look dirty. Yet surprisingly, when I use this product, the lipstick doesn’t come off! I won’t say that there was no smidgeon of lipstick stain, but it was very little smudging.

I use matte lipsticks, and the finish is great. Although there is a dry look to it, I don’t get any lip comforts. I do ensure to moisturise my lips before applying lipstick, then use this product.

Once I finish it, I plan purchase it again.

Something extra!

KOSE Lip Gel Magic goes well with stick-type lipsticks and crayon-type lipsticks. It is possible that we will not get the benefit when using gloss-type lipstick, because of how well it blends with gel.

Furthermore, many users find that the Lip Gel Magic tends to give lipstick a matte quality!

In conclusion

Even though I still new to using this “lipstick coat”, I have becomed very interested in this item! Not only is it able to retain the lipstick colour for a day, lipstick gets used up slower too, making it a financial saving★ If zero lipstick is your worry, give the KOSE Lip Gel Magic a try!
