Isoflavone Supplements for Beauty and Health
In the last article we looked at the benefits of isoflavones, but this time we’re going to introduce you to some isoflavone supplements and food products that allow you to increase your isoflavone intake easily. As we mentioned last time, it’s recommended to limit your intake of isoflavones from supplements to 30mg per day.
DHC Soy Isoflavones
Contains aglycon-type soy isoflavones (2 tablets per day gives 25mg). Helps to balance the natural body rhythms of middle-aged and mature women with hop and linseed extracts.
FANCL BITOKI
Contains aglycon-type soy isoflavones (8 tablets per day gives 20mg) and saponin type B (8 tablets per day gives 50mg) which has been independently developed by FANCL. BITOKI also contains hyaluronic acid, coenzyme Q10 and HTC collagen.
Calbee FRUGURA Fruit Granola Black Bean Flour
Delicious and nutritious, with iron and 8 vitamins. Contains 13mg of soy isoflavones per 50g serving.
OTSUKA SoyCarat Soybean Snack
A healthy and convenient snack! This is a low GI product, meaning it allows for the slow absorption of sugars by the body. This snack contains 20-22mg of soy isoflavones per bag (27g).
There are many isoflavone supplements other than the ones we’ve just listed. We hope to introduce them to you another time. All of the products in this post contain an amount of isoflavones near to the upper daily limit of 30mg. Take a look at their price and the other ingredients, and you might just find a product that’s suitable for you.
At the moment, I’m taking the collagen product that I wrote about before and also some menopause relief supplements called “inochinohaha”, so I’m not taking isoflavone supplements right now. But now and then I’ll have some Calbee Frugura. I love it, it’s so delicious. I’d really recommend you to give it a try!
Next time we’ll introduce some cosmetic products which use isoflavones, so remember to check it out. Also check this out if you are wondering why isoflavones are so popular.
