Asahi Perfect Asta Collagen Jelly: My Favourite Collagen Brand!
Even though I’m sharing Asahi Perfect Asta Collagen today, I must say that collagen is a product that’s constantly getting attention. It’s the product our readers and customers at Wonect most want to find out more about.
Asahi collagen powder is the most popular, probably because of its price point and high visibility in the market. But recently other types have been increasing in popularity, such as collagen drink that promises to have immediate effects. Since the number of options has gone up so rapidly, a lot of customers are really wondering which one is best for them.
I’ve touched on collagen in some previous articles, but this time I’d like to introduce a brand that I really recommend to you guys! I’ve actually been taking Asahi Perfect Asta Collagen jelly since July last year. It’s pretty rare for me to stick to a product for over a year (#^.^#)
Asahi Perfect Asta Collagen Jelly
This line of collagen comes in two types:
1. Perfect Asta Hyaluronic Acid Jelly

2. Perfect Asta Placenta Jelly

Both of these come in packs of 5 or 20, so if you’re picky about the taste I suggest buying the smaller packet to try first. Personally I don’t like the taste of grapefruit, so I initially put up with not liking the taste of the later one, but by now I’m used to it and even think it’s kind of tasty. I really like the peach flavoured collagen jelly. Once I’ve had one I always feel tempted to eat the rest of the pack (*^_^*)
In addition to collagen, these Asahi collagen jelly also contains vitamins, royal jelly, ceramide, dietary fibre and lactobacillus, which all help to promote healthy digestion and beautiful skin.
Key points:
- These collagen jellies contain 15 types of beauty-enhancing ingredients, including hyaluronic acid jelly and placenta-extract jelly.
- Uses collagen peptides from pigs. This is low-molecular-weight collagen i.e. the molecules are smaller and can be more easily absorbed by the body.
- Free from sugar and caffeine so the collagen jelly can be taken without worrying about your diet. (It’s usually recommended to take collagen supplements before bed and you don’t want a sugar rush in the evening!)
- Jelly-type collagen makes it convenient to eat right out of the packet. No mess and no fuss!
- Comes in peach and grapefruit flavours. There’s no strong collagen or medical flavour; they taste like ordinary jelly and can be eaten as a snack.
- Eating 1 packet per day is enough.
In my case I actually keep both packets of Asahi collagen in the fridge and eat one of each before bed.
This is what they look like in real life:
Open up the top of the packet and the sticks of collagen poke out ready to be eaten. I took the packets out of the fridge to get a good picture for you (*^^)v
This is the actual jelly. On the left there’s the placenta jelly (Perfect Asta Placenta Jelly), and on the right the hyaluronic acid one (Perfect Asta Hyaluronic Acid Jelly).
The colour is a bit different, isn’t it? Usually I eat them straight out of the packet rather than taking them out. The texture is just right; the jellies are not too hard but don’t fall apart easily either!
Becoming youthful again with the Asahi collagen jelly!
Perhaps those of you who’ve read my previous articles remember me saying this, but since I started eating collagen regularly, my hair seems to have grown thicker. It had been thinning out for a while before that, but over a few months I really noticed a difference.
When it comes to wrinkles etc. on my face, it’s hard to tell how much effect the collagen is having because I use a lot of skincare products. But when it comes to my hair, I can’t think of any other product I’m using that would have had that effect, so I’m pretty content with these supplements. I feel that my hair has also improved in its shine and overall quality.
I’ve personally felt these direct effects, and that’s why I really wanted to recommend these collagen jellies to you. I’m sure that other collagens have similar effects too as long as you take them consistently. But I hope you’ll give my recommended Perfect Asta Collagen a try! If you are looking for other collagen options, then how about the top seven collagens picked by our customers? Also, if you are still selecting collagens, knowing what supporting ingredients to look for is important too.
