    Hi

Have fine curly dry hair. Which mucota leave in conditioner should i use.

  2. Cathy says:

Hi, I have straight hair, but I usually style my hair using a curler. So I am confused on whether I should use leave-in conditioner 09 or 10. Thanks for your advice!

    • Wonect Team says:

Hi Cathy, you may want to go for 09. 09 is not just for hair strength (especially with its moisturising benefit), it’s going to help make your hair more manageable when you style your hair~ 10 is more for straight styling.

  3. Kas says:

Hi, I have been using mucota 10, now I can’t find stock and my stylist is recommending 9. I have very thin, wavy frizzy hair which lacks volume..

    • Wonect Team says:

Hi Kas, sorry for the late reply! I believe your stylist has his/her reasons to suggesting 09. You’ve probably been using 10 to control your frizzy hair, giving a smoother finish. 09 actually strengthens your hair roots, so while giving less control than 10, may gives your thin hair strength.

Hi, I hv frizzy hair on top root n want to hv korean perm …So which should I choose. Thanks for the advice.

    • Wonect Team says:

Hi Kathy, there may a number of possibilites for frizzy hair. One could be due to lack of moisture (which is likely because hair treatments like perm can lead to lack of moisture in hair). As such, you may start from looking at Aire 03. It would retain the volume on your perm, while giving a moisturising benefit.

Hi there, i nees some advise on your product. Im enquiry on behalf of my husband, he been using alot of product n shampoo for hairloss from alot of salon but it turn out his hairfall getting worst n there’s a patch of baldness. Do you have any solution for this?

Secondly, i have a very super damaged hair due yo perm, rebond, bleaching and hairfall quite alot too. Do you have anything to recommend?

By the way does your product suitable for kids afe 2yrs and above?

I appreciate if you could advise on this.

    Yours sincerely: Lin

    • Wonect Team says:

Hi Lin, it does sound like your husband is facing tough issue. 🙁 It’s difficult to determine the cause, and you may want to consider visiting a trichologist to determine the root cause(s).

From what you have shared, shampoo alone is not enough for hair loss (unfortunately! 🙁 ) Using a lot of shampoo from different salons doesn’t necessarily mean they are all suitable? If we assume that all the salons are recommending to their best of abilities and intentions, then maybe the scalp/hair is not ready to accept the benefits of the shampoos. Again, the main cause(s) needs to be determined.

To approach hair loss, we would approach from two aspects: products and lifestyle.

Products: Men produce more testosterone, which weakens the roots of hair to “make way for new hair growth”. We’d like to control that. Males tend to produce more sebum too. Without a good shampoo, we are unable to wash excess sebum off our scalps. Don’t forget, the scalp is skin, and this causes pores to clog! :O This results in nutrients from treatments, hair tonics etc being unable to reach the hair roots. Shampoo quality is important too, because skin/scalp react differently to different products. Just like we wouldn’t use alcohol-based products on sensitive skin, we wouldn’t want to use shampoo that is too strong that would stress the scalp. Also, moisturising for the scalp is important, and strong shampoos tend to strip hair of dirt AND moisture. If there is one step we would take today, is to go full focus on scalp health and strength. Good shampoos, scalp-oriented treatments, hair tonics. Hair growth formulas can be considered too.

Lifestyle: But using products are only external; lifestyle plays a huge part from inside our bodies. Diet is important, because (1) we want to avoid food that encourages our bodies from producing excess sebum, and (2) we want food that promotes healthy skin (and thus for healthy hair). Stress is also a major part of unhealthiness, as it slows blood flow indirectly, making it hard for nutrients to reach the hair.

For your case, it sounds like your hair foundational strength is weakening. Repeated treatments on the hair is very damaging on the hair. You probably already know, that these treatments involve breaking the protein threads of the hair to reform the desired effect. This is usually why hairdressers will check hair quality to ensure the hair is healthy enough to take the stress, eg if hair is too thin or weak, they will probably advice against perming.

How about focusing on scalp health and hair strength? If you are considering the MUCOTA Adllura Aire, then DUNE EX is meant for highly damaged hair. The key ingredients within are the abundance of CMC and moisturising ingredients, which are extremely important for damaged hair. Unfortunately, Adllura Aire serie’s focus is on hair, so you might want to get something else for the scalp, like hair tonics and scalp essences. We’ll include a link below so you can use as a reference.

Also, if you decide to try MUCOTA Aire DUNE EX Shampoo/Treatment (or other hair products), purchase the small volumes first. This way, (1) if it didn’t work for you, you won’t be wasting your money for the additional volume, and (2) you’d have a point of reference to stick to, or to choose a better product, either within MUCOTA Adllura Aire series or other brands. Of course, MUCOTA is a very popular purchase by our customers, so we’ll take their word for its effectiveness.

Only some shampoos are suiatble for children. We need to remind ourselves that children have more sensitive skin than adults, so we’d want to ensure that the shampoo is gentle for the scalp and skin, and is something that helps set the foundation of strong hair (over the more fancy options for adults like hair colour perseverance). Go for gentleness and moisturising ability. We’d also avoid using cheap shampoos too often because they are usually too strong (likely sulphate-based). Look for the article link below for “How to Choose the Right Shampoo? Know the 3 Types!” for an explanation.

Hi, just permed my hair hence can you recommend a curl enhancer to maintain the curl please

  7. Joan says:

If I have course dry hair, which leave in treatment 09 or 10 should I get? I have natural wavy and frizzy hair, and do rebounding every 6 months to the new growth. Once a year I also perm the hair ends to get some curls.

  8. Gigi says:

    Hi

I would like to be advised. I have curly straight hair and I would like to know what kind of product to use? I do dye my hair every few months or 1 year later, I am thinking of soft rebonding my hair in near future also. so would like some advice on which to use.

    • Wonect Team says:

Hi Gigi, it depends on what texture hair you have. Is your hair hard to control, or your hair texture is soft? It also depends on whether you want more volume or more texture. If you are planning to dye your hair often, you might to concentrate on moisture care, so you can consider looking along the lines of 02, 06 and 08.

  9. Ros says:

Hi, I have dry frizzy unruly wavy hair which series should I use?

    • Wonect Team says:

Hi Ros, here’s what I’d recommend for your hair type:
For shampoo, if your hair is thin or fine, use Mucota Adllura Aire 01. If it’s thick, use Mucota Adllura Aire 02.
I’d recommend Mucota Adllura Aire 05 as your conditioner/treatment step (I have very similar hair type and this works great for me!)
If you want a leave in conditioner step, Mucota Adllura Aire 09 is designed to add moisture and reduce frizz for wavy hair.
      Hope that helps!

  10. Angie says:

Hi, I have rebonded my hair and curled the ends. May I know which shampoo and conditioner should I use for daily use? Thanks.

    • Wonect Team says:

Hi there! The Mucota line is usually best chosen based on your hair type. Could you give me a little more information about your hair type — is it thin or thick, straight or curly, dry or oily?

You might also want to check out our updated article which gives a bit more information about how to choose based on hair type: https://wonect.life/mucota-adllura-aire-explainer-build-routine/

      • Angie says:

Hi, my hair is a combination of both. It’s between thin and thick hair. I do not have oily hair. I’m want to get a conditioner that helps to keep volume in my permed ends as I prefer bouncy curls instead of flat ones. Thanks!

        • Wonect Team says:

Hi Angie! Thanks for that! Your hair sounds like its in good condition, so based on that what I would suggest is a volume boosting shampoo and conditioner as a base, and then if you need a little extra help with hydration or damage repair go for less frequent weekly treatment and/or leave in conditioner.

          Shampoo: Aire 01
          Treatment: Aire 03
Both of these are silicone free and are designed to boost volume, so they should give your curls a bit of extra shape and bounce without weighing them down.

If you’re interested in a weekly treatment, I would recommend the Aire 07. This is designed to repair hair that has had a chemical treatment, so it should help if there is any damage, but since you don’t need to use it every day so it’s not going to effect your regular look.

For a leave-in treatment, I’d recommend going with the Aire 10. It’s the best selling product in the line and it’s volumizing too 🙂

          I hope that helps!

          • Angie says:

Hi, thanks for the reply! However I have permed ends, wouldn’t 09 be more suitable instead of 10? Also I bought 04 conditioner before seeing your reply 🙁 will it help my rebonded hair and permed ends too? Thanks!

          • Wonect Team says:

            Hi again!
All the products in the line are going to help with chemical damage like rebonding and perming, and the 04 isn’t a bad choice for you! The 04 is also silicone free, so it’s not going to overly weigh down your ends. It’s just not as volume-boosting as the 03 because it’s designed to add a little extra moisture.
The 09 leave in product is designed to add moisture and reduce volume (or frizz) in curly hair. Since you mentioned you wanted to add volume to the curls my thought was that the 10 could be better for you. But again, they’re all well formulated products– there are some differences in the finish, but I’ve tried a few types that weren’t expressly designed for my hair type, and at the end of the day they all improved the quality of my hair.
I’d just try out what you think is best, and then if you decide you want more volume or more smoothing you can make an adjustment for the next time 🙂

Hi there, my hair always very frizzy and occasionally my scalp will be itchy. BTW, I have rebond hair. Sadly it doesn’t control the frizzy-ness. Please help to advise which shampoo and conditioner/mask to rescue my frizzy fly away hair. Thanks in advance!

    • Wonect Team says:

      Hi Joey,
      Thanks for your comment!
These would be my recommendations (based on my own experiences with frizzy hair)
      Shampoo: Mucota Aire 02
Conditioner/Treatment: Mucota Aire 06 (Just from my personal experience as someone with fine, combination, very frizzy hair, I’ve also had great smoothing results with Aire 05.)
      Weekly mask: Mucota Aire 07
Leave in treatment: Mucota Aire 10 (This is by far the most popular product in the Mucota line and is designed to smooth hair, so if you want a leave in treatment I’d go with this one.)
